The LAUGH research team, My Home Life Cymru and ENRICH Cymru held the event, ‘LAUGH – A celebration of love and life in care homes’ at the Senedd on Friday 16th March 2018, 10am – 12.30pm.
The event was the culmination of our three year international AHRC funded design for dementia research project. The LAUGH researchers have been working with people living with advanced dementia to develop a collection of playful objects to engage, comfort and bring pleasure. The event was an opportunity to view the objects, meet the researchers and hear the stories behind the designs.
The event was in collaboration with My Home Life Cymru and ENRICH Cymru who are promoting good practice and research in care homes across Wales.
The event was be opened by Sarah Rochira, Older People’s Commissioner for Wales.
