Cathy has presented the LAUGH research at the international Design for dementia symposium at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia. The symposium invited researchers from around the world to discuss how design can improve the lives of people living with dementia. The symposium was supported by the MinD project (Designing for Mindful Self-Empowerment and Social Engagement) at QUT Design Lab.

Cathy and Gail met with Adriane Boag from the National Gallery of Australia, in Canberra this week. Adriane leads on their dementia outreach work at the gallery and spoke about what they are doing to engage people living with dementia with visual art.
